"Larry E. Belk began his career in the home building industry in 1969
as a builder in northern Mississippi. Following in the footsteps of
his father and uncle, both Mississippi home builders, he designed and
built homes in northern Mississippi for 4 years before moving his
business to Houston, Texas in 1973. Mr. Belk has won numerous national
design awards. In 1995, he was inducted into the College of Fellows of
the American Institute of Building Design for excellence in design.
The AIBD College of Fellows is the highest obtainalbe award of the
institute."
